Rarely do I get a chance to take photography for purely selfish satisfaction, but that has changed!

Without doubt my favourite part of being a photographer is to capture people's personality, not an easy thing to do with a stills camera. So let the Soul Project commence... it's totally free of charge for those who 'get it'. Interested?

OK, so this is the deal. You have to want to be in front of the camera, happy to let your guard down, not be bothered about how good the camera can make you look. This isn't about make up, posing, happy smiley faces only shots (though none of those are ruled out!). It's about capturing you at a certain point in your life, and photographing something essential about you. The only other criteria is that you are striking in some natural way, whether you have exceptionally beautiful eyes, lines that tell a story of 80 years of hanging around, a rock n roll hairstyle and tattoos or just that je ne sais quoi. All those who submit to partake in the project are considered regardless of background, but you need to sum up in less than 150 words why you think you would be a great subject!

Most sessions tend to last around 1-2 hours, and I come to you at a location which is agreed in advance. For your time and agreement in letting me post your photo here, you'll get a free 12x8 print and your images to keep. Projects can be ongoing or one-offs. There is absolutely no fee.
